In 2014, Alessia reached the semi-final of the Swiss Music Awards in her native country. However, 2018 was the official beginning to her music career. She was discovered by multi award winning producer GEOSLAM, which led to the release of the single ‘Butterfly’ in June 2019. Following these achievements, Alessia started studying at BIMM London where she was able to focus on developing and forming her path into the music industry. Her ambition is to be able to perform her music to as many people as possible, wanting to spread and awaken joy in each person that she encounters. Having moved from Switzerland to London last year to pursue her studies in music, Alessia wrote and released her single titled ‘Real talk’, which was launched with a headline gig on the 4th March 2020. This was a major accomplishment in her career and will always be a moment that she looks back on with incredible fulfilment. Sadly, her plans to release an upcoming EP have been postponed due to the ongoing situation, however this will not stop her from writing new material and trying to reach her fans in innovative ways. Coming from a jazz piano background and education, Alessia has crafted a beautifully written set of pop songs, which encompass her personal life and reflect on emotional experiences. They describe people who have always stayed the same and refused to adapt to an ever-changing world. She wants to spread her most important message, that everyone has their own superpower with which they harness the potential to do something truly special and unique with their life. Her simple yet piercing lyricism conveys an honest relatability to the listener, instantly producing an intimate bond with her music. Her words are backed up by melancholic and powerful instrumentals, driven by her performing band members on the drums, guitar and bass and a backing vocalist. Additionally, they can play covers that are mostly pop, jazz and funk pieces. She met Snezhanka Borissova, Sam Fessey and Michael Belfrage respectively at BIMM, which is the university the whole group attends.
