Años 2000 Vol. 20
The Beginning In 2001 Alphazone burst onto the scene with their wellknown remix of DJ Kim - Jetlag (Alphazone Remix), marking the birth of a genre, namely Alphazone’s blinding hi-nrg trademark sound. The track was an instant classic and is still hailed, by many DJs, one of the most energetic hands-in-the-air peak time tunes ever produced. Their meteoritic rise continued after releasing their first solo production Stay and its massive follow-up Rockin in 2004. At that time Alphazone had already established themselves as The dons of hardtrance (DJ Magazine). Their unqiue blend of slammin’ kicks, breakneck rhythms and razor-sharp acid lines with uplifting melodies and dramatic breakdowns had set an infernal blaze on all major dancefloors around the world. The inventors of hi-nrg trance (iDJ magazine) had defined a powerful and fresh way to captivate the crowds. The Rise The German duo continued to build their fabulous reputation with new solo productions. With Flashback they dropped another anthem, which could be found on over 40 compilations worldwide, entering Top 3 positions in official dance charts of several countries like Germany, Australia and Japan. They also delivered quality remixes like Saltwater – The Legacy, which has been a huge Tiesto favourite in 2005. This blinding mix of absolutely anthemic proportions found its way into every record case around the world. The Legacy (Alphazone remix) became one of the most hammered tracks in the history of trance. In 2005 the Alphazone boys have been busy touring the globe providing the very best in peak time trance to the enchanted masses. Their appearances in Europe and overseas have covered the best clubs and parties and always received major attention in the press and local club scenes.Besides they have also mixed several compilations e.g. the Transmission CD for the Australian market, whose club scene drool over their full-on trademark sound. The Future 2007 will surely be huge year for Alphazone. After a time-out from music production in 2006 the duo has been very busy lately in their Skywarp Studios to work on new productions and their first artist album The history of hi-nrg. In Summer 07 they will kick off their latest tunes with a big scedule of dj gigs coming up. With global tours to Australia, Asia and Japan announced, they ready to enthrall crowds the world over with their smooth mixing and unique fusion of energetic peak time anthems and fierce driving club beats.
