AnE are 2 musicians from Cardiff that have previously been involved with Hymn, Dirty Revolution, New Electric Ride, Hunt, Bomb Alaska, General Jumbo, Theramin. The project is in very early stages and only demo’s exist currently. Heavily influenced by Morphine, the songs are melodramatic musings of a songwriter once again lost and alone. Unlike the early work of Hymn, these songs are not uncomfortable. The synthetics and chaos have been replaced by a self made 2 string bass, but the vocals are still mostly spoken with occasional singing. Although the demo releases have a fair amount of swearing and vulgarity, this has since been dropped by the newer sound of AnE.
