In todays music world there seems to be a lack of artistry and creativity. Suffocated with the same sound, and the same styles, Anosha is like the breath of fresh air giving life to what is dying. 19 year old singer/songwriter Anosha is bringing music back. With her unique blend of R&B, Soul and Pop, she stands apart from others of her kind creating music rather than just relaying it. Her understanding of music as an art first and a gimmick second is apparent in her touching lyrics and moving melodies. Writing since she was 14 years of age, five years later, Anosha now writes for aspiring artist at Surefire Recording Studios in Lowell MA where she also records. The songstress is currently working on her debut album. I wrote all the songs that will be on my album. I want people to relate to me and feel me and even dance with me! But mostly to know that this is ALL me and real music. Inspired by such artist as India Arie, Beyonce, Neyo and of course legends such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Donna Summers, Anosha strives to muse styles from the past with ones from the present with the intention of longevity. Its not just about the hits. If you can create a song that actually makes sense and is marketable then it becomes a hit on its own. The best part is that it will always be a hit for the long haul and not just for the year or the season. Starting to build her fan base locally around the Boston area it is only a matter of time before Anosha is the newest hot act out of the North. Performing every weekend at such venues as Roxy (one of the biggest clubs in Boston) Bills Bar, Europa, Blue Wave, and numerous colleges throughout New England, the mass is learning about Anosha and loving what she has to bring. Her passion for her music shines in each word, song and performance. She is a God given star and it glows in her being. Anosha is breaking down the doors and people are listening.
