There are two artists named Appleyard: 1. Appleyard is a loose folk band centered around the music of Alex and Joe Muller. Their first EP, Autumn Leaves, was released on January 15, 2008. The group's work is also featured on a 2008 compilation CD from the Baylor Rising Artist Network. Appleyard's music features rich harmonies over roots instrumentation and draws on a variety of American traditions, including gospel, folk and early country. In addition to the Muller twins' originals, Appleyard has recorded songs from sources as diverse as the Carter Family, the Kingston Trio, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bright Eyes. 2.
