Astora hails from the small state of Maryland, and is composed of four 20-something boys. Originally Astora was The Duals, consisting of only Kevin Sullivan and Josh Cook, two long time friends. Josh took care of the guitar and bass, while Kevin lended the band his drum and vocal skills. During late summer/early fall The Duals acquired Brian Flora on bass, and thus became known as 'Vice'. Sadly after a few gigs, both Kevin and Brian left for college, and due to some issues between members of the band Brian Flora left, ending Vice's summer of fun. Towards the end of 06 Mike Stewart joined Vice, to form Astora, and before their first gig they added bassist Mitch to the line up, giving Astora a well rounded front. With a series of smaller gigs coming up, there is no telling what is in store for this small Maryland band. Read more on Last.fm.
