Since 1992, Baltinget has been a leading band on the Danish folk scene, a success at numerous folk clubs and folk festivals in Denmark and abroad, including the European Broadcast Union Folk Festival 1996, Tønder Festival 1996 & 1998, and Folk Fest Dranouter (Belgium) 2002. Baltinget turns the venues upside down with their dynamic, intense and swinging music. The strength of traditional Danish music merges with modern harmonies and forms in compositions by the band, as well as in new and exciting interpretations of traditional tunes.
