Hooked



Bromad is the electronic project of 26 year old West Australian producer Stefan Forbes McRoberts. Originally born in Scotland, Stefan has always been obsessed with making music since he was 16 years old. His project Bromad immediately became successful, with his debut single being picked up by Australian EDM producers Bombs Away, which they promptly released on their label Bomb Squad Records. His follow up single Hooked was extremely well received and saw support from names in the Australian Dance Music industry such as Bombs Away and Komes. Since then he has put out multiple professional original productions that have seen both mass coverage and success. Bromad's signature style of almost talkative bass lines and cyberpunk-esque sound design, seamlessly combined with the familiar sounds, musical structure and tones of funk, jazz and soul music makes for music production that not only fits right at home amongst the bass music scene of electronic music, but also manages to retain the human elements of musicality and humanity that listeners can both strike a chord of familiarity with and have a sense of intimacy as well.
