​​C.O.S.A is a rapper and producer born in Chiryu, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. At the young age of 12, he pursued his love for music by writing lyrics and later became interested in rapping. C.O.S.A. released his first album Chiryu-yonkers in 2015, two years after a period of inactivity in music production and lyric writing. In 2016, C.O.S.A co-wrote the album Somewhere with KID FRESINO and, later in 2017, released his EP Girl Queen. In 2019, C.O.S.A. released his single Death Real, surprising fans with its unexpected release. C.O.S.A. stated himself, during an interview with Takeshi Kuno about his music and motivation, that he didn't treat words as notes, allowing him to freely express his thoughts on a deeper and more serious level; while this is the case most of the time, he thinks that his music cannot serve as background music.
