CHASKA is the South American folk metal band the world has been waiting for. Founded in Arequipa, Peru in 2002. Their unique style and versatile music was inspired and influenced by the power and energy of Heavy Metal and South American-Peruvian sounds and textures mixed in a new proposal creating a timeless music. The creative genius of its members have brought forth a new music that transcends far beyond the borders. The topics which run through their songs involve the audience in no time or limit pictures and verbal images, as well as epic legends, myths and Peru’s ancient and contemporary history. CHASKA comprised of five talented artists who presents an outstanding live show that stimulates and seduces audiences.
