In 2006, when getting involved with music programs, Tanel Kurnim a.k.a Cosmithex found himself more and more often behind the sequencer, writing the next track and twiddling around with sounds. With no formal musical education or training, he quickly got involved in learning and teaching the basics of sound himself. Steadily writing breakbeat / downtempo tracks for years, he discovered the progressive and psychedelic side of trance music, which slowly led him to focus on the style completely. In May 2011, he got his first EP signed to well known label JOOF Recordings. His music has been supported by many respected producers / DJ-s like Paul Oakenfold, Christopher Lawrence, Activa and John 00 Fleming. His productions vary from darker and deeper to more uplifting and atmospheric trance, while keeping his own style and maintaining the soul of underground sound.
