DISREIGN is a Visual Metal band originally from Sweden composed of YOHIO (Vocals), JENZiiH (ex. Seremedy - Bass), and tias (drums). The band started out as a secret project in 2014 when former Seremedy bassist JENZiiH started composing songs, wanting to return to the music scene after the disbandment of Seremedy. Having a hard time finding members, he asked his former bandmate YOHIO to listen to the instrumental demos he had made. YOHIO liked the songs and joined as the band's vocalist. Shortly after, YOHIO's support drummer tias joined the line-up, closely followed by tias' former classmate and close friend Valentin on guitar. With the line-up complete, DISREIGN released their first single Until the Fade in May 2015 through YOHIO's record label KEIOS ENTERTAINMENT. They drew immediate attention in the Visual scene and experienced a quick growth, following up with their second single 枯れ蓮 in December the same year. Though the band is Swedish, the lyrics are mainly in Japanese due to YOHIO being proficient in the language. In June 2016, they had their first live performance at KEIOS FESTIVAL in Stockholm, Sweden. Just a few weeks after, they packed their bags and moved to Tokyo, Japan. Their third single WITHIN THE VOID was released in November 2016. The same year, guitarist Valentin decided to leave the band, though they still remain good friends.
