Dear Café, It's Food
Based in Melbourne, Australia, multi-instrumentalist Timothy Westwood has been writing indie rock music under the Dayuna moniker since 2012 Westwood has released two albums and an EP under the Dayuna name as independent digital-only releases via websites such as BandCamp and Soundcloud. Free tracks can be downloaded at his BandCamp page, https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://listen.dayunamusic.com. Dayuna first entered the music scene as a chiptune artist, fabricating short pieces using software such as Famitracker to emulate the sounds of old 8bit hardware. This chiptune phase led to his first BandCamp release 'Select a Chip', a short album comprised of entirely 8bit tracks. His first two major releases, 'Less-than-needed Pressure' (EP) and Meters Are Defining Moments, were more orchestral and ambient focused, being completely instrumental. Since then Dayuna has chosen a more stable, traditional tone, taking on the indie rock genre with his sophomore release Hidden Lines on Rising Tides, and his latest release Dear Café, It's Food.
