Jackal



During the five years the band has existed we have managed to be warm-up band for British rock legend Whitesnake in Estonia´s biggest concert hall Saku Suurhall in front of 5000 people, won Estonian MTV Years Best Music Video Award with song Save us from Religion and over 100 concerts from bigger cities to smaller villages, basiclly everywhere. So after few years of giving concerts in Estonia and other Northern countries, Defrage got very bad reputation in Estonia for wrecking hotel rooms wich also spawned a song called Hotel Breakers. And during the time of 2009 to 2011 we´ve gotten blacklist in about 150 hotels all over Estonia, including Estonian Hotel Community blacklist, so non of our group members can check into any hotels. And also in band´s home town Pärnu we´re not allowed to visit the restaurants during the day time. And as the conclusion of all the troubles in our home country, the band founder, song writer and also rhythm guitarist Kari Kärner ended up in an asylum. So just like that we´ve gotten people´s hatred in Estonia and in the begginning of 2012 Defrage started Jackal World Tour, because living in Estonia and having concerts there would be almost impossible and band decided to be all-time touring, meaning that the band will be where ever there are offers to give some gigs. Since 20 January 2012 we´re touring around Europe and we´ve given about 60 concerts in Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia and many more countries.
