Donomichi DODDODO

Doddodo is a eclectic artist from Osaka Japan. She writes her melodies on a keyboard before bringing in the samples, which works as kind of a rhythmical axis, and skillfully digs out material on various bought or borrowed CDs as showcased in her earlier records often included a sound between 80s breakdance hip hop and breakcore (including various toy instruments and samples), whereas the newer stuff is is heavily influenced by Japanese Min'yo music, folk songs from Japanese rural areas, complete with live percussion and guitar.
