There are multiple artists/bands called Dominus: 1) A Danish death metal band 2) A electronic producer/DJ duo from Chicago. 3) A UK based garage and dubstep producer 1) Dominus is a Danish Death metal band formed in Ringsted. They released four albums First one (View to the dim) in 1994, and the last (Godfallos) in 2000. Their style developed from pure Death Metal on their first two albums, into a more rock and roll sound on their latest. A style which frontman Michael Poulsen developed further in his new band Volbeat (which also is the name of the 1997 dominus album). 2) Two friends, Brandan Gajic and Jamie Caraballo, that started producing music together in 2018, Dominus has been evolving their sound of unique dark pumping soundscapes with a variety of releases spanning techno, house, and midtempo. With releases on Moretin Records. Music4Aliens, Sub49, Spiffy Recordings and Vibes Records they have gained support from some of the industry's biggest names like Dr. Fresch, AC Slater, Gaga & Mateo, Speaker Honey, Lights and One True God to name a few.
