DONDA 2

Donda (styled in all caps) is a creative content company founded by American rapper and fashion designer Kanye West. The company was named after West's mother, Donda West, and shares the name with his tenth studio album, released in 2021. Donda 2, the successor to Kanye's album, Donda, was scheduled to release on February 22nd, 2022, executively produced by popular rapper, Future. A day after its scheduled release date, it released exclusively on the Stem Player, a music device made and funded in collaboration with Kanye. Every song in the tracklist, as a result, was ripped and leaked where fans would illegally pirate and listen to these songs, and became one of the most pirated albums of all time in the process. The years following the exclusive and anti-DSP release of Donda 2, many of the songs featured in the official tracklist were gifted by Kanye to the respective collaborators and were repurposed in their own albums. After the antisemitic remarks made by Kanye in the months following the release of Donda 2, the Donda Stem Players were discontinued entirely in favor of Ghostface Killah. On April 29th, 2025, Kanye released Donda 2 onto streaming platforms by request of Kick streamers N3on and Sneako, both of them becoming closer friends with Kanye recently. On May 1st, an updated version featuring two new songs would be added to the album. Read more on Last.fm.
