There are more than one artist that use this name. Four are mentioned below: 1. A fictional South Korean boy band. The group was created for the tvN South Korean TV series “Lovely Runner (선재 업고 튀어)“. 2. A symphonic black metal band from Poland 3. A Hard rock, Southern rock, Boogie, and Blues mix band from Indianapolis, Indiana. ALBUM: The Gunslinger MEMBERS: Mike Donaldson (all guitars, lead vocals), Brian Walters (bass, lead vocal on Homebound), Mark Cook (drums), Debbie Cliver (keyboard, accordion), Craig Cook (keyboard on Country Girls), Tommy Wills (sax on Not Dreamin’), and Don Wheeler (mandolin on Donna’s Song). TRACKS: The Gunslinger (5:07), Country Girl (2:55), Homebouns (7:15), Donna’s Song (2:42), Ride Away (3:41), Bean Blossom Boogie (4:20), Southern Love (4:00), Not Dreamin’ (5:22), and Tired & Lonely (4:35). The Eclipse Band was formed by James Big Mike Donaldson in 1976 during his high school days. Mike has become a well-known guitarist, singer, and songwriter over the years; he writes all their material. Whether he's playing guitar with his teeth or using a Jack Daniel's bottle as a slide, you can tell he loves to Boogie, and Boogie he does! This Indiana biker band remained active until the passing of leader/guitarist/vocalist/composer James “Big Mike” Donaldson in February of 2014. Their summers would find them traveling from state to state playing many A.B.A.T.E. functions and biker rallies. During winter you could find them doing shows in nightclubs and in the studio recording their next album. A fun time was had by all who caught them live, but you can still enjoy their albums. They self-issued 4 total over the years. On eBay: The Eclipse Band - The Gunslinger 4. Pre-Cult of Luna sludge metal/metalcore/straight edge hardcore band that released a 2 song 7-inch entitled The Bona Fide EP in 1997. They had written and prepared/rehearsed enough songs for a full-length. however, the band fell apart before recording sessions, production and release/distribution occurred whatsoever. Johannes Persson once expressed regret over this event stating that he wished the band had had the chance to finalise such songs given the fact he is very curious as to what that alternate path would have wound up as. The songs ended up being lost in time's memory hole and abandoned/reworked into Cult of Luna early songs. Evidenced by the existence of a song from a Swedish Straight Edge Hardcore obscure compilation entitled Receiver which is a song off The Beyond. Their very rare - still unofficially released - 1999 exclusive promotion for record labels Demo is most likely what an Eclipse full-length should have constituted sonically. As an eventual coincidence, another Swedish hardcore band with a similar sound and name from the very same time period existed, even also sharing members with the Eclipse described here.
