'Hilary' is the first new Encyclopedia music to be released in 3 years. Ben wrote it on the train home from his last show playing in the band Tellison, in October 2008. It's backed with a full rock band and was recorded in his garage with everyone's friend Ben Turner. Encyclopedia is a rock band band from Yeovil, UK. Benjamin Wood and Oliver Herdsman started Encyclopedia in 2004. Encyclopedia made an album called 'So Hot Right Now' which was released in 2006 on T Shirt Records in the UK and in Japan on Littlebird Records the following year. The single 'Emily' came from this album and was released on Alcopop to no critical acclaim. As of 2009, Encyclopedia developed into a five piece rock band. Their first release in this form came in the way of a single entitled 'Hilary' and was followed with a full-length album. The album 'Difficult Season' was made and never released in 2009. The line-up at this point in time consisted of; Adam Clements, Oliver Herdsman, Nick Jacobs, Sébastien Renaud & Benjamin J Wood.
