Taken from https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://fakofbolan.cjb.net FOB was born after the second MonteParadiso festival in autumm 1993 inspired by the first bigger meeting of the Croatian Punk scene, and also was the answer to the bad situation in our society. The first gig was in Labin in the summer of '94 and that was the beginning. The first release was split LP with Dark Busters (Pula) in 1996, it was released by MonteParadiso, Humanita Nova and the bands. The second release was Jedini dokaz (The only evidence) in 1998. These two albums were recorded at Chotka studio and we are thakful for all the help and advices Chotka gave us. Also, it's important that the second album was released in colaboration with MonteParadiso, Humanita Nova and Dirty Old Town. We are especially thankful to Vedran Meniga, Igor Banjanim and Cavallo Padre. This album Provincija uzvraća udarac (The Province Strikes Back) was recorded in December 2001 in Marijan's basement. Thanks Marijan for your hospitality and all the help on the production… Playing in a band helps us to fulfill our childhood dreams of traveling around. Except the fact that the band had played in all possible cities in Croatia and Slovenija, we also played three tours around Europe. In '96 the band played Germany and Netherland, thanx to Andrijana Barbić Cica. We have really good memories about the cold German winter, Amsterdam and Hamburg. The second tour was in spring '97 and it was organized by Alain (Liege) and Maske, we played together with aSMC band from Pula in France and Belgium. We would have played in Switzerland too, but their police didn't let us in. It was nice to play in Paris in spring, Lion crew for great gig… thanx Sašo for drive… Last tour was few days before and after the New Year's Eve in 2006, we played with Nula in Austria, Switzerland (we had luck this time), Spain, Italy. We remembered all the good people like Louise and Sabina (Biel) and David (Zaragoza). This is a part of the story about fakofbolan. There is so much more thigs to tell, like MonteParadiso and fakofbolan are parts of each other but that is another story… to be continued… Thanx to all our MonteParadiso friends who followed us all the time from Vardar to Triglav, from Prevlaka to Dunav, from Dalmatia to Spain…. to all people who enjoyed products of nature, especially….
