Fatta Eld
Fattaru is a Swedish hip-hop group consisting of Morgan DJ Kojak Röhl, brothers Marcus Mackan Price (aka Basutbudet) and Mingus Mingan Price along with Kristoffer Stuffe Malmsten (aka Rah Balder) from Stockholm, Sweden formed in 1998. They have so-far released three albums and five singles, as well as featured on the two compilation albums Den Svenska Underjorden (2000) and Ordkrig (2001). Their first album, Fatta Eld was, with swedish hiphop-scene standards in mind, a major commercial success. The two main hits from this album were Första Femman and Mina Hundar. In 2004 they launched their second album, Jordnära. The album failed to attract as many customers as their earlier album, and passed through rather unnoticed outside the underground swedish hiphop-scene. A new album called Mina Drömmars Stad was released in October 2006. A fourth album was in the works but was for unknown reasons never released. Since 2006 no more music has been released as a group, but Mackan has had an ongoing solo career as Marcus Price as well as in the duo Marcus Price & Carli, whilst Stuffe has written movie scripts. In 2001 they won two Grammis in the categories Best Newcommer and Hiphop/Soul. In 2022 they celebrated the 20th birthday of their first album with a concert in Stockholm. T Fattaru still remain today as one of the few swedish hiphop-acts signed to a major label, EMI. Read more on Last.fm.
