Train Trax
There is more than one Fugitive: Hardcore punk band from Twerp Records, older four piece band from New York that has changed their name since, a British rock band, a House producer, a Dutch band, and a thrash metal/crossover band from Texas. (1) Twerp Records is blowing minds this year. Fugitive released a menacingly caustic tape on the label this year that will definitely slaughter your ears. Angrily strained vocals are spit over dirty riffs, fuzzed-out bass and barbaric drum beatings. Their demo brings constant abuse to the senses. This hardcore punk result is energized to the absolute max and layered with grit. -CutAndPasteBlog- (2) Fugitive was a four piece from New York City / New Haven. They have since changed their name to Red Temples (3) Fugitive was formed in November 1990 inspired by such groups as Led Zepplin, Whitesnake, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Mororhead, iron Maiden to name a few - firmly planting their roots in the british rock scene. As bands like Thunder and Skin appeared on the scene, Fugitive found like minded musicians willing to give it all to keep the British Rock band alive. From the very beginning the band set about writing original songs. Early releases include Lost Horizons and the massive Hit in the club scene Hookers Brew. As the original tunes and identity took shape, Fugitive's reputation as the ultimate party band grew. When asked to describe themselves, the unofficial motto was Rockin' is our business. Beer drinkin' and hell raisin' is what we do - we're Bikers entertaining Bikers. Fugitive broke every attendance record in the Merseyside area, with a solid following from the local bike and rock scene. Times change, and the music industry has seen an influx of nu-metal bands, but Fugitive stick around and produce fabulous shows that reach across the generations of rockers and are received enthusiastically by ALL. (4) Fugitive is also the name that House producer Jason Nevins released at least one release under. This release (Ready Dubs) was uncredited to Nevins, most likely because the release contained remixes of Ready or Not by The Fugees and Woo Hah! by Busta Rhymes and the remixes were not cleared for release. (5) Fugitive was a Dutch Band from the village Boskoop. They started in 1982 as The Axe. In 1983 joined Pieter the band as a singer and they changed their name in Fugitive. In 1986 they changed their name again into A Fugitive Of Mercy . They stopped in 1988. (6) Fugitive are a Thrash Metal/Crossover/Hardcore band from Fort Worth, Texas featuring members from Power Trip, Creeping Death and Skourge. Bandcamp Read more on Last.fm.
