There are multiple artists with this name. 1) Goldielocks, real name Ella Mäntynen, is a Finnish-born, Berlin-based artist and songwriter aiming for international exposure. She blends the organic band elements of past decades with today's indie-influenced pop, transporting listeners into a cinematic world where the past and future collide. Her lyrics are very personal, inspired by her own experiences, conversations with loved ones and their life stories. Her parents weren’t musicians, but avid listeners, and her father was a sort of homespun amateur music critic with influential opinions. However, her interest in performing and writing pop music didn’t solidify until a music teacher noticed that this little girl had an exceptionally strong voice. Goldielocks got to work with a demo producer at a young age. It was the first step towards becoming a professional. While developing her production and distinctive sound, Goldielocks has listened to bands like Tame Impala in recent years. Besides singing, she sees lyrics and composition as intellectual instruments, and creating distinctive, original songs as a matter of honor. Surprisingly, she quickly landed a publishing contract with a record label as a songwriter, too, after just a couple of demos. In 2025 she competed in the Finnish UMK (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu) with her song Made Of and placed second, earning 303 points total. 2) Sarah Akwisombe is an English female rapper, singer and producer better known by her stage name of GoldieLocks. Her music has a very UK sound, with a blend of grime, electro, dubstep, dancehall and hip hop. She cites her influences as Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, The Bug, Beenie Man, N*E*R*D, Gwen Stefani, The Streets, Burial, Kelis and Girls Aloud. Read more on Last.fm.
