GOR is a medieval folk project from Pozzuoli, Italy, founded in 1992 by Francesco Banchini. His music is defined as atmospheric and gothic with considerable eastern influences. The first GOR album, titled “Bellum Gnosticorum, was released in 2000. It was followed by Ialdabaoth in 2001, Phlegraei in 2002, Qumran in 2003, and Croisades in 2004. All of these releases have been published by the French label Prikosnovénie.
