GOTHIKA (EUTHANASIE) is a Japanese industrial/electronic band formed in 2001. Their influences include Rammstein, Bauhaus and Orchestral manouvers in the dark. In 2002, vocalist andro and guitarist n@o started band activity with the name Euthanasie. In 2003, keyboardist #449 had joined, and sound of Euthanasie started to change to digital sound. In 2003 the band released their first album Savage Messiah. In January 2007, the band decided to change their name from Euthanasie to Gothika and their style of the sound started to change to european electro. On may 2007, n@o had to leave the band due to personal reasons. The band works currently as a duo. On september 15, 2007 they released first full album, 120 Days of Sodom. On 2008, Gothika relocated to Berlin, Germany and started activities there. In 2016, Gothika played their final European show, after which, they move back to Japan.
