There are at least three artists sharing the name Gregor: 1) Gregor was a short-lived punk group from Michigan, USA, formed by 3/4 of current. they released only a demo and a 7 called Extention / Explosion, probably in 1995. However, the two featured tracks, Agrarian Republic and Non Plused Crush as well as the tracks Fur Mein Schatz, The Last One and Rather Margrite are actually the songs of a different, early 2000's Gregor, based out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA, who released songs on the Michigan based indie lable Asuarus Records. 2) Gregor Is a brazilian alternative rock and indie rock group from Goiânia, Goiás. They have 2 Singles released, Cinza and Refúgio, plus an EP released by the name of Casulo. In 2018, the spacious, acerbic pop of debut album Silver Drop introduced Gregor to the wider world. Touching single A Song About Holding Hands has become a global couple’s favourite, and Gregor sold out every headline show he played through 2018 and 19. Silver Drop was album of the week across Australian community radio, and Gregor was nominated for Best Album and Best Solo Artist in the 2019 Music Victoria Awards. Gregor plays bass in Laura Jean’s live band and sings backup on Sweet Whirl’s recent album How Much Works.
