This describes several things on Last.fm: 1) Heroes were a pop/rock quartet featuring Darren Costin on lead vocals. He was formerly the drummer for Wang Chung. They released the album Here We Are on RCA Records in 1987. They released one single and video for the song Drift Away. It received play on MTV. 2) Swedish/Swedish Finn patriotic rock band. Formed in 1995, from the ashes of Heroes in the snow. 3) An incorrect artist tag for the TV show. 4) Heroes are also a 5 piece metalcore outfit from New York. We Can Rebuild their debut EP will be released in November 2010 and with a heavy tour following they plan on pushing their dream even farther. Drawing influence and molding the sounds of bands like The Ghost Inside, Shai Hulud, and For The Fallen Dreams. is proving them a force to be reckon with. 5) The song Where the Wild Things Are was written by a band called Heroes from Pennsylvania before the TV show was ever even a concept. Needless to say, the tv show and it's fame consequently made the band Heroes defunct. 6) A new super group comprised of the members of three other super groups. Heroes are Felix and Märta from Le Kid, Anders Hansson of Dream Beats, and Tamer and Christie of the now defunct The Face. 7) See also Heroes (UK) for Heroes (English rock band featuring Chris Bradford) Heroes (UK) were a UK based band formed in 1979, with Chris Bradford and Mark Hankins on guitar and vocals, the band's line-up was completed by Pete Lennon (lead guitar), Dave Powell (drums) and ex-Randy band-member Brian (Wally) Wallis on bass guitar. 8) Originally named Heroes, Cry Wolf is a hair metal band formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in the mid-1980s.
