After releasing their debut album TRU and filling the biggest concert venues in Latvia, Instrumenti have proven to be the best Baltic live act of the last decade. Instrumenti was formed by two academically educated musicians and their sound is a mix of indie-pop and experimental electro. Shipsi (vocals/keyboards) has one of the most impressive falsettos today’s music has to offer while Reynsi (drums/ keyboards/vocals) has a genuine talent of creating incredibly rich and warm sound backed up with beautiful harmonies. In August 2011 Instrumenti released their debut album TRU recorded at Valgeir Sigurdðon’s Greenhouse studios in Reykjavik, collaborating with people who’ve worked on most of Sigur Rós, Björk and Jónsi’s records. Being the most sought-after Baltic act, Instrumenti have played the biggest venues in the Baltic states and have taken part in numerous festivals and showcases all over Europe (Germany, Iceland, Austria, Norway, England, France, Belgium, etc.). In December 2011, mere months after the local release of TRU, Instrumenti threw a spectacular live show – completed with massive production and impressive video projections – attracting a crowd of people that can compete with the audience brought together by the biggest names in music today. https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://www.instrumenti.in Read more on Last.fm.
