Kapsamun is a Swiss-Albanian jazz band. The memebers are: Arsim Leka (saxophone, founder) Marcel Zimmermann (violin) Samuel Wettstein (piano / keyboards / darbuka) Florian Abt (double bass) Michael Stulz (drums / percussion) Albanian folk music with fiery rhythms, wistful ballads from Kosova and breakneck odd beatsfrom the Middle East - this emotionally-played music is open to the new world jazz which leaves space for everything that shakes your legs and moves your heart. In the music of Kapsamun you can hear also influences from salsa, fusion, nu-jazz or drum'n'bass, giving our original compositions a broad range of inspirations, reviving the traditional music of Kosova with a new freshness - and sparking the enthusiasm of a broad audience.
