Gutter Music Vol. 1



1. Kartel was born in the crumbling back room of a condemned building in deepest South London during the summer of 2002. Inspired by the true Hardcore/Metal crossover giants of the 90’s, Kartel put a London twist on the sound and forged ahead with their own style, keeping it moving but never turning their backs on the rawness. Kartel’s first tunes appeared on the 3-way split ‘Southbound’ with Ninebar and Diction before the release of a 5-song demo and a track on Rucktion’s ‘Time For Some Rucktion’ comp. 2007 saw the release of their well-received full-length ‘Rise Of The Guttersnipe’ on Rucktion Records. Kartel are currently putting the finishing touches to their next full-length album, to be released later this year. This is Gutter Music 2010. 2.
