Somewhere between growing up on his father’s jazz and folk collection, and the hip-hop and sound system culture of the streets outside, kidkanevil has developed a distinctive and unusual sound over the years. He counts the likes of Bonobo, Daedelus and Wire Magazine amongst his fans and has remixed, produced and collaborated with some of electronic music’s finest, including the likes of Stateless, Andreya Triana, Foreign Beggars, Illum Sphere and Dorian Concept. He has released music on labels such as Ninja Tune, Project Mooncircle, Brownswood, Error Broadcast and First Word and has played shows from Sonar to Hoya:Hoya and Low End Theory.
