Korsakoff Pres. Pink Noise



Korsakoff, real name Lindsay van der Eng (born July 25, 1983), is a Dutch hardcore/gabber producer and DJ. She is one of the most recognized producers in the gabber scene, performing at prestigious events, particularly Masters of Hardcore. Many of her songs and albums have reached international charts. The Korsakoff project was initiated by Bart Kok in 2001 as a way to release more melodic and mainstream-oriented material compared to his main alias, Catscan. Initially, Bart used the pseudonym Jeroen Kanon to sign Korsakoff tracks. In 2004, after Bart left the Third Movement label to co-found Pro Artist Management with DJ X-Ess, the Korsakoff project began being fronted by van der Eng. Since then, she has appeared on the covers of Korsakoff releases and has performed as DJ Korsakoff. In the early years, most tracks were composed and produced by Bart, sometimes in collaboration with Outblast. Today, however, she produces her own tracks, and Korsakoff is solely Lindsay van der Eng. Korsakoff first gained recognition in 2004 when she and DJ Outblast produced the official Masters of Hardcore anthem, Unleash the Beast. The track was broadcast on television network The Box as a promotional stunt for Masters of Hardcore. That year, her career quickly took off, and she was booked to perform at some of the biggest hardcore events, including Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore, and BASSLEADER. Read more on Last.fm.
