Kouros Shahmiri (Persian: ﻛﻮﺭﻭﺱ ﺷﺎﻫﻤﻴﺮﻯ), better known to the public as Kouros, is an Iranian singer-songwriter. Shahmiri graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He went on to join Andy Madadian to form the duo, Andy & Kouros. They were first introduced to the public by Siavash Shams, a friend of Madadian. Their first collaborative album, Khastegary, was released in 1985. In 1992, Shahmiri split from Madadian to pursue a solo career. He has since released 5 albums including Nassleman, and the recently released album Afsaneh. Read more on Last.fm.
