There are more than one artist that go by the name Koza 1) Koza (Kamil Białaszek, born 13 March 2000) is a rapper from Raszyn, Poland. Active on local and Warsaw underground rap scene since 2017, he started his career freestyling and uploading homemade rap videos to YouTube. In 2017, he started collaborating with now-defunct Lekter Records. In 2018 he independently released his first record - dreamy Loty EP MIXTAPE, praised by its lyrical content, and dadaist OrangeburgerStra​ß​e in collaboration with Ozzie Ozzie/Tomasz Kunicki. He released a series of singles through Lekter, culminating with his biggest song to date, Stoły, followed by his first abstract rap LP, Mystery Dungeon. In 2019 he was featured on Popkiller Młode Wilki 7 and started collaborating with fellow rapper Barto Katt, culminating in sleeper eurodance-rap hits Payday and Wolni Farmerzy, and later a full LP, GEAR 3000 (BUMP'12, 2023). In 2020 he released pastiche Patologya through Hashashins, and recorded experimental Naukowcy Fazy in collaboration with Ozzie Ozzie and Augustyn, which was released independently in 2022. Followed by sexual assault allegiations, he took a brief hiatus from rap, returning in 2021 with a 180-degree jazz-rap collaboration LP with jazzman & producer Kuba Więcek - Niebo Nad Berlinem through Warner, highly praised by critics but failing to gain traction. In 2022, he released his fourth album, a trap epic Amok produced by Jordan, again through Hashashins. In 2024 he is set to release his 5th, allegedly pop-rap fusion LP, Kusz in collaboration with producer & rapper Molehead through Dyspensa Records. Over the years he collaborated with a number of rappers and producers, to name a few: Avi, Ten Typ Mes, Adi Nowak, Rzabka. His vocal style is very versatile; he ranges through whispering, screaming, altering voices in the same lines, rapid verse deliveries to autotune-less singing. His complicated, abstract lyrics often touch themes of religion, drugs and human psyche. His live shows are characterized by considerable audience interaction, alternating between moshpits and sit-down singalongs. At the beginning of his career he often picked internet fights with tabloid news outlets gaining a negative reputation, resulting in his cancellation following the 2020 allegations. Nevertheless, he remains one of the most exciting polish underground rappers of his generation. Along with rappers Ozzie Ozzie and Oorbit, he's the founder of underground art group Bypass Squad, which has supported newcoming rappers Klarenz, Migekk, Nycto, Wara, Gugas, Boneless Terror, Saint Piotr, Bartuś419, Kuszcz, Weenaper, Lil Piotruź, VVEZE. 2) KOZA is a 4-piece sludge, stoner, doom metal band from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
