Born Esa Juhani Ruoho, October 26, 1978, in Helsinki, Finland, started producing music at the age of 15 - back in 1994. Has spent 21 years of his life in Kontula, Eastern Helsinki, Finland - but also traveling in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and Dublin, Ireland for 6 months and 20 months. Starting with trackers, Esa has kept the up-down vibe and also branched out to left-right transmutations when it comes to step sequencers - preferring a mix of vertical trackers and horizontal sequencers, and jamming on top of that with other forms of note-stepping, a mixture that is both static and out of control. Releasing his stuff on netlabels, real life record labels and digital download labels has led to a decade of compilation tracks, remixes, singular trax and ep's and records.
