There are 3 Artists by the name of Lucille. 1) Hail from Tel Aviv, Israel and play soul infused hip-hop 2) from Bochum, Germany 3) Underground Indie/Pop Artist the first (www.lucillesmokinsoul.com) is an international 8-piece collective fusing elements of funk, soul, blues and hip hop. The band is fronted by Baltimore native MC Rebel Sun and Argentinean guitarist/producer Isgav and feature a revolving door of talented guest female vocalists. The band is currently working Lucille's full length debut due in late April. In the build up the band has released a single for the track Deep In Da Mudd (soundcloud.com/lucille-smokin-soul) from their 'Smokin' Soul' EP. The EP received positive press reactions and the band completed a successful tour of Germany in 2012 including Reeperbahn Festival and a full house show at Kaiserkeller Club (where, among many others, the Beatles started performing). -The Second is come from Bochum, Germany, Lucille has been playing together in various instrumentations since 2006. After a period of dry spell due to the departure of Johannes (bass) and Tom (drums), the band reformed with Luke Gärtner playing bass guitar (who has sadly left the band) and Julian Kruse playing the drums in spring 2008. We got the chance to play some gigs with the “bigger” bands, and we didn’t hesitate to accept this offer!
