Sour
lynden was formed in the summer of 2003 when singer/songwriter Coury Palermo & multi-instrumentalist Matt Butler decided to put their talents together. Over the next year and a half the duo wrote, recorded & played...trying to solidify their brand of melodic soul rock... we are by no means recreating the wheel...just trying to put a different spin on it. From the recent response to their debut ep it looks like they are beginning to do just that. After two long years of trial & error lynden debuts their first album pieces vol. I. Recorded in Nashville & Atlanta under the production of producer/writer/composer/musician Charles Judge, the record draws from rock, electronica & soul to show the first step in this young bands ongoing evolution. Since the download only release (at burnlounge.com/lynden) on January 12, 2006 the ep has scored two number 1 downloads, (first time (you were mine) & better) & continues to win over fans worldwide. The independent release that followed on March 7, 2006 began the commercial journey that promises to be one to watch. Partnering with the boys for this exciting journey is nationally recognized Verge Management Inc. Under the supervision of partner Tamara Alan (tamara@vergemanagement.com) lynden is preparing for an exciting year of nexts. In the works: the first of many live bootleg records, continuous touring & pieces vol. II (spring of 2007)...to mention a few. Thank you to everyone who has supported us by coming out to shows, buying the record and/or dropping us a comment or email. The last several months have been an amazing ride & for that we are very thankful. Also...if you have not signed up for our mailing list at lynden@lyndenmusic.com or subscribed to our myspace blog...PLEASE DO SO...we would love to keep you up to date on what's going on with the band...much love -lynden Read more on Last.fm.
