MOMOLAND (Hangul: 모모랜드) is a six-member South Korean girl group currently under Inyeon Entertainment. They were formed and previously managed under MLD Entertainment (formerly known as Duble Kick Company). The current line-up consists of Hyebin (혜빈), Jane (제인), Nayun (나윤), JooE (주이), Ahin (아인) and Nancy(낸시). The group was formed through a MNET survival reality show called FINDING MOMOLAND with seven members (current line-up + Yeonwoo (연우)). They debuted on November 10, 2016 with the mini-album Welcome to MOMOLAND and the title track JJan! Koong! Kwang!. The album was made possible by crowdfunding to cover the cost for producing the physical format. On March 28, 2017, Daisy (데이지) and Taeha (태하) joined the group to make MOMOLAND a nine-member group. On April 26, 2017, they released their first single album Wonderful Love. The single album also contained three tracks from their previous album. On August 22, 2017, they released their second mini-album Freeze! along with title track Freeze. While promoting b-side Wonderful Love (어마어마해) (EDM Ver.), member JooE's dancing went viral in South Korea. An advertising company spotted her, and she landed a Tropicana CF. On January 3, 2018, they released their third mini-album GREAT! along with title track Bboom Bboom (뿜뿜). The title track was composed by Shinsadong Tiger. The title track was a hit, peaking at four on the Gaon Digital Chart and the Billboard World Chart. The song won MOMOLAND their first win on January 11 on M! Countdown. They later got their second and third wins on Show Champion and The Show. On June 26, 2018, the group's fourth EP Fun to the World was released, with the single Baam. The group also released Japanese versions of their singles Baam, Boom Boom, and I'm So Hot in Japan. On March 20, 2019, Momoland released their fifth EP Show Me, with the lead single I'm So Hot. The single was released without Daisy and Taeha, who were on a mini hiatus due to personal and health reasons respectively. On September 4, 2019, the group released their first Japanese studio album, Chiri Chiri without members Daisy, Taeha and Yeonwoo. On November 29, 2019, it was announced that Taeha and Yeonwoo had left the group and discussions were ongoing with Daisy about her future in the group On December 30, 2019, the group's second single album Thumbs Up was released, with the lead single Thumbs Up. On May 13, 2020, it was announced that Daisy had left the group, after she made accusations to MLD Entertainment regarding the members selection process during her time on the reality show FINDING MOMOLAND. On June 11, 2020, a non-promoted special EP called Starry Night was released, with the lead single Starry Night. On November 17, 2020, the group released their third single album Ready or Not, with the lead single Ready or Not. South Korean singer Psy participated as a lyricist of the song. On February 5, 2021, the group released a cover of Wrap Me in Plastic by CHROMANCE. On January 14, 2022, the group released their English single Yummy Yummy Love, in collaboration with Natti Natasha. On January 27, 2023, MLD Entertainment announced the group has departed from the label following the expiration of the members' contracts, however, they did not explicitly state that the group has been disbanded. On February 14, 2023, MOMOLAND officially announced their disbandment. On April 10, 2025, MK Sports reported that MOMOLAND members Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin and Nancy recently signed exclusive contracts with Inyeon Entertainment. According to the report, this exclusive contract is for MOMOLAND team activities, and they will reunite as a full group and stand on stage once again. On May 8, 2025, Inyeon Entertainment posted on their official instagram that MOMOLAND had joined their agency and signed an exclusive contract with the six members of MOMOLAND. On June 30, 2025, Momoland released Festivaland, their first remix album with Baam (EDM Remix) serving as the album's title track.
