MadMaxim started playing instruments at the age of 7. From djembe to clarinet to saxophone to singing, he acquired many skills in rhythm design, classical music analysis, as well as writing jazz and blues music. Since 2010, MadMaxim has been DJ-ing as MXR at private and public venues, mostly in and around the city of Zurich, Switzerland, playing digital music as well as spinning vinyl. 2019, MXR switched his name to MadMaxim, setting a starting point in his focus on digital music production, mixing and mastering.
