Neosignal is an electronic music project originated in Hamburg / Germany at the tail end of 2011. it started as a collaboration between Florian Harres, also known as Phace, and Michael Bräuninger, also known as Misanthrop. neosignal and neodigital are also their same named recording labels. neo [neo] // ancient greek, from neos, new. signal [zɪŋˈnaːl] // a sound, image, message or impulse transmitted or received through communication, media or current. to fulfil their own perception of combining human soul and digital technology in sound and vision, the duo decided to choose the new alter ego neosignal for their joint music productions. against the trend of a mainly capitalistic and media driven world, neosignal does not care about musical categorisation, expectations, or restriction. they care about progress, detail and artistical freedom. neosignal are known for distinctive and uncompromising music and sound design. electronic meets rock and synthetic meets soul - their sound is imbued with deep cinematic themes, energetic rhythms and analogue acoustic soul, piquing demand for appearances at clubs and festivals across the globe. their music receives support by acts like Amon Tobin, Skrillex, Noisia, Pendulum, Goldie amongst many others.
