A Knxwledge remix of the single “Drugs” from Anderson Paak’s album "Venice". It’s interesting to see, now that the instrumentation changed from a trap influenced one in “Drugs” to a funk/jazz inspired one in this remix, how the connotation behind the entire song changes. Whereas “Drugs” was very hookup culture friendly, with a beat and cadence that mimicked the music of the culture very well, “Droogs” is very “relax to some old jazz tunes.” Read more on Last.fm.
