In 1985, they divided with Sepultura the most famous split album of Brazilian metal, also the first LP released by the label Cogumelo Records. Século XX assured countrywide recognition to the band. Their first LP was Conscience in 1987, followed by the album You're Really Big released in 1989 and featuring a melodic Heavy Metal sound. In 1990 Overdose recorded Addicted to Reality conceiving their Thrash Metal sound. Two years later the band released Circus of Death which was the base of various later recordings. Progress of Decadence, their most famous effort and also their most exotic album was released in 1993 through the U.S. label Futurist. During that time the band developed a consistent mixture between Brazilian folkloric drums, whistles and thrash. Their lyrics were based upon social problems and desolated landscapes of poverty in capitalistic societies. Soon afterwards, the band headed for a world tour, achieving huge success specially in the US. That success leaded the recording of Scars in 1995, more focused in Thrash Metal mastery than their earlier album. In 1997, former Sepultura and The Mist guitarist Jairo Guedz briefly joined the band before moving on to join Eminence. 2) Overdose is a polish heavy metal band, formed in 2008 in Jedrzejow. The band consists of Adrian Morąg (vocals), Tomasz Frej (guitar), Jarosław Morąg (guitar) Karol Kaleta (bass) and Patryk Pająk (drums). 3) Overdose is a hardcore band from Atlanta U.S.A.. They are in vien of Murder Weapon, Integrity, Life Of Agony, Buried Alive, Cro-Mags, Carry On. They played numerous festivals including This Is for You Fest and were acclaimed for their album Under Pressure.
