A math pop, midwest emo/math rock quartet from San Francisco area, PEE (or P.E.E., short for Potentially Egregious Error) were only a blip on many 90s indie rock maps. PEE consisted of artists like Andee Connors, a drummer who's drummed for other bands like A Minor Forest and J Church, Jim Stanley playing lead vocals and guitars, Kelly Green also on vocals and guitar, and Tiber Scheer, a bassist who most notably played in the band lowercase after PEE's disbandment in 1999. The group played frequently in the Bay Area and toured several times including three U.S tours. Often playing club shows with other era bands such as Track Star, Heavy Vegetable, Three Mile Pilots, Cheap Trick, among other bands. Between 1994 to 1998, PEE would release four singles, one EP, and two albums. The first being Salt Garden / Icarus the Flat-Footed Pond Bird and Jonah & the Whale / Transplant City in 1994, Egghead Billy / Turn Key One in 1995 under the March Records label, and Now. More Charm and More Tender. releasing in March 5th, 1996 as PEE's debut album under March Records and only album under that label. PEE would release Miracle Research Center Staff in 1997 as their first EP under Honey Bear Records. The Roaring Mechanism would release on March 31st of 1998 under the Absolutely Kosher Records label before disbanding a year later in 1999.
