If ever a pigeonhole let it be rock 'n' roll. If ever a niche position let it be in the garage. If ever alternative let it be with German lyrics. PopJohnPaul wants to be heard - and can make a sight of itself by doing so! The four boys from Hanover/Germany embrace the pop and garage bands of the sixties. They shake hands with soul. PopJohnPauls very own idea is the space in which everything meets. Frontman Sebastian Heidel sings the songs in German. Their songs come naturally, intimately and a wee bit sassy - but in a very authentic way. Live, they are loud, direct and with no frills. The band aims straightforward for ears and hearts.
