One of Quendus's few non-noise compositions, this was written in 2007 in order to gain marks in an educational course. As such, it isn't completely free of aesthetic and musical restrictions. Since no violinist was (or is) available to play the (solo) violin part, the only recording of the piece is by a heartless machine which plays the piano and the violin section (!) parts with equal absence of feeling. Quendus is deeply dissatisfied with this state of affairs. On the other hand, the piece was worth an A grade. Hurrah! Read more on Last.fm.

Quendus is a Free Music/sound art/experimental project mostly consisting of harsh noise, pianos, and databending, assembled using Audacity. The project will be finished quite soon, though the person responsible will continue recording under a different name, with slightly different intentions. Quendus also published a few video experiments; they are available at https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://youtube.com/severebrokenness and https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://vimeo.com/quendus/videos . Video material will be somewhat more prominent in the new project. Free Music is an ideology involving total absence of monetary cost to both the musician and listener, and a freedom from considerations of aesthetics, technical skill, volume, production quality, structure, etc. Read more on Last.fm.
