1) Rivals is a dark pop-rock/punk/metal band from Los Angeles, CA formed in 2014 by vocalist Kalie Wolfe, bassist Sebastian Chamberlain, guitarist Micket Woodle and drummer Josh Alves. After releasing the 'Haunted/Hunted' EP, Rivals gained mass attention with their unique take on Twenty One Pilots track, 'Heathens', and in 2018 they released their debut LP 'Damned Soul', via SmartPunk Records. In 2021 they released their follow up album 'Sad Looks Pretty On Me'. Rivals supported The Strokes on their recent visit to Ireland and played at the 02 Wireless Festival at Hyde Park, London in June 2006 with The Strokes, The Ranconteurs, Dirty Pretty Things. Formed in 2012, the band has completed several regional, Midwest and east coast shows including most of Australia's major cities. The band describes their EP message as one that directly addresses personal encounters, but also on a scale of viewing situations in another person's perspective. This band see themselves as a strategic way to voice their opinion and share it to a larger audience while still doing what they love. Their vision as a whole is to influence misguided youth in a positive direction, being able to relate to their music and lyrics.
