Sergey Tolstov aka Stendahl discovered his love for music in the childhood ages and started learning the piano in 1996. Growing up, he was influenced by Smooth Jazz and Melodic Electronica, with his biggest inspirations being Robert Miles, ATB, The Prodigy, and Brian Culbertson. Stendahl began his music career as a producer in 2012. His first release came out in 2014 on Silk Music (now Monstercat Silk), and he has since had many releases with this well-known Melodic House label. The other labels Stendahl worked with are Armada, Enormous Tunes, Lilly Era, Spectrum Recordings, Sekora and more. In 2015, he started DJing and has played a lot of nightclub and festival gigs since then. As a professional piano player, Stendahl's deep passion for the instrument can be noticed in almost every aspect of his music production. He mixes different styles, not sticking to one genre, which makes his tracks unique and fresh. His compositions always carry sincere encouragement for listeners to think, dream, dance, and enjoy every moment of life. With lots of new releases coming, as well as his own Rewoven label launched in 2023, Stendahl is excited to share more of the finest electronic music with the world. Read more on Last.fm.
