Stillsuit was a post-hardcore band from Queens, NY. They combined the aggressive sonics of the New York Hardcore scene with first-wave emo elements, heartfelt lyrics and progressive instrumental passages that definitely helped them to stand out from the pack. In the transitional days of 1990's hardcore, they were a bright spot. Their music picked up the theoretical thread laid down by Quicksand and ran with it. Their live shows were blazing. The band featured Julian Vasquez on vocals, Manny Carrerro on bass, Orlando Arce on guitar and Dimi Douvas on drums.
