There are at least 2 bands with the name Stu: Stu, born 1979, from Basel, Switzerland : Stu has earned his name “Don Atari Electro” by years of crunchy beats for dance floors and low-tech music lovers worldwide. He became well-known due to his ways of tweaking the very limited sound chip of the Atari ST to a completely different level. Stu's music creation style is unique, using only a square wave and a noise generator on three channels. People listening to his music instantly recognize that he takes the limitations of the machine as a challenge, and in response pushes the machine to limits. Stu's complex sound programmings, shuffled into groovy rhythms, arrange soundscapes more digitally harsh than any other electro available. Therewith he proves that an old homecomputer is not merely good enough for classic video game music as in the '80s, it's also a perfect tool to produce crunchy electronic dance music from nowadays. Back to back with the Atari, Stu has become a name recognized around the globe, where he plays more and more livesets with his self-tuned computers! https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://stu.dropdabomb.org https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://myspace.com/bombstu Read more on Last.fm.
