Stage name of Dutch DJ and vocalist, Mike Everling from Rotterdam. 3. John Sykes of Blue Murder released several solo albums under the name of Sykes. 4. A drum and bass DJ/producer from Germany who started his career in 1999. 1. SYKES is the former name for PLYA, a three-piece synth pop band from South London. The band consists of singer/keyboardist Julia Sykes, guitarist Kris Taylor and drummer William Brown. As SYKES they released three EP's: Gold Dust in October 2014, Younger Mind in July 2016 and Glimmer (Remixes) in March 2017. Sykes is a DJ, producer and vocalist based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Growing up listening to artists such as Donny Hathaway and India Arie and being inspired by electronic artists like James Blake, Bonobo, RJD2 during his teens, Mike Everling began producing his own electronic music under the name Sykes. He has been performing live sets with Beau Zwart in the Netherlands and together they released their Hold Tight EP in July 2020. John Sykes is an English musician, songwriter and producer. He is best known as a member of Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy and Tygers of Pan Tang.
